The Shiva Trilogy
A great warrior, a people's leader, an adoring spouse, a beloved father, a fantastic dancer, a beautiful vocalist, and so much more. All of these are the attributes of Shiva, a Tibetan exile. Shiva came to India from Tibet with his people, the Gunas, to the Meluha Kingdom, led by Nandi, in search of peace and tranquility. They used a drug called Somaras in Meluha to keep them young and living for a longer period. When Shiva and his tribe arrived in Meluha, they were given Somaras as well. Shiva's neck went blue because of this. The residents of Meluha and Nandi were taken aback when they saw this. Because they believe that a person whose neck goes blue after consuming Somaras will be their protector. The Meluhians dubbed Shiva as "Neelkanth" after this incident. Siva was puzzled by all these actions and didn't know how to respond.
Daksha, the King of Meluha, called Shiva to his palace. He was greeted with open arms. Daksha saw Shiva as their god, who had come to protect them from all dangers. In the entire Kingdom, there was a Neelkanth story that everyone believed. The entire people saw Shiva as their saviour once he was identified as Neelkanth. Shiva, on the other hand, was pleased with these actions. He never thought of him as a big guy, nor does a deity. As a result, he was irritated by all these actions. He doesn't want to harm other people's feelings, though. As a result, he deferred to their judgment.
One day, when Shiva was meditating in a temple, he came upon a lovely woman named Sati. Shiva fell in love with her right that moment. Sati was the Meluha Kingdom's princess and the daughter of King Daksha. Sati was working on her dance moves. Shiva teamed up with Sati because he was an exceptional dancer, and the two formed a lovely friendship. Sati grew to adore Shiva to the depths of her heart over time.
Shiva's main goal was to track down and eliminate the evil power. However, it was not an easy road. Suryavanshis, Chandravanshis, and Nagas were the three groups of people who inhabited the Indian subcontinent. Shiva travelled the length and breadth of India to discover the source of the common evil. Throughout his voyage, he was accompanied by Pandits from Vasudeva's Clan, who provided him appropriate directions whenever he became lost.
This story is divided into three chapters that reveal how Shiva began his journey, the great love between Shiva and Sati, the Suryavanshis and Chandravanshis lifestyles, the secret of Nagas, the power of Vayuputhras, and so on. Amish, the author, has done extensive study and put in a lot of effort to offer us the true history of ancient India and Shiva. The book's factual facts as well as the technological marvels of Shiva's time will undoubtedly wow the reader. The plot was expected to be happened before 4000 years from now. Shiva, who is revered as one of India's greatest gods, is not a fictional character. He was a common man who moved to the greatest position of mankind, only through his deeds.
I really admired Shiva as a family man who cherished his wife Sati and his sons. Shiva was also a fearsome battlefield warrior. His war strategies were so unique that he was strong enough to win on the battlefield. Ganesh and Karthikeya, Shiva's sons, were also given profound descriptions. The entire journey is full of twists and turns throughout the plot. There are several parts that gave me chills, as well as some that made me cry.
This story isn't about Hinduism or magic in any way. It is a simple and sensible story about an ordinary man. This book series is a must-read for anybody interested in learning about our historical greatness.
